Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! I swear this summer is flying by… I feel like if I blink, summer will be over and I will be moved into my dorm at Lindenwood. It’s that time of the summer where when I am buying new things, I am looking for pieces that can be easily transitioned into fall. I think these pants are so fun and a perfect transition piece. They are so flowy and look great when you’re walking or moving around and give off a very easy and effortless vibe. I also love the detail on the waistband. I styled them with this simple tank top to stay cool on these hot days. I think the embroidery at the top pairs really nicely with the waistband of the pants. And, I think you could add a jean jacket or sweater in the fall to easily switch seasons.
Hats are probably my current favorite accessory. I am always looking for an excuse to not style my hair and hats are the perfect solution, plus they are so trendy and literally “top” off any outfit. This hat is a PacSun clearance find that I snagged for $5. I wear my Giving Key necklace with just about every outfit and this one is no exception. It is so simple and a great conversation piece. I love explaining the meaning behind it. For those of you that are unfamiliar with The Giving Key, they employ people transition out of homelessness in LA to stamp the words on them. You wear the word that describes you and then when you meet someone that you think is also described by the word, you pass it on to them. I think they are an incredible organization and I love supporting them.
