Dress: Philanthropy Cape
Hi everyone! I hope you had a super relaxing weekend and a good week so far! My sister and I had a lot of fun at the Fifth Harmony Concert on Friday night. If I’m being totally honest they weren’t my favorite show ever but Amanda and I had some much needed “sister bonding time” haha! Before I left for college we would always drive around and JAM to the radio (especially Justin Bieber, Maroon 5, and Selena). We hadn’t gotten to sing in the car together since before I left so it was probably my favorite part of the weekend driving around and exploring the campus and St. Louis. My other favorite part was the serious shopping spree we went on(of course haha)! Amanda is my absolute favorite person to shop with because she knows my style, she likes the same brands, and she is also really good at finding sales, I taught her everything she knows;). Free People and the Lucky Outlet were having some awesome deals that we definitely took advantage of! Both of us have been obsessing over fun graphic tees and dressing them up with chokers, booties, and other accessories. If you are also loving the graphic tee trend, Lucky men’s department has some super cute ones and I love the fit of them because they are actual t-shirts instead of the fitted style.
This outfit is the total opposite of the grungy t-shirts and choker I have been loving but my style seriously changes from day to day so this Philanthropy dress was one I had to share with you! It is just so pretty and it is such a flattering cut. Maxi dresses can have a tendency to be more flowy and not as fitted but this one has such a nice fit that really lays nicely. Also, the print is so fun and I love the colors, it helps distract me from thinking about how summer is almost over. My favorite part of the dress is obviously the back. It is so unique and a really nice detail, very feminine and girly in the front but a little chicer in the back!
Talk to ya soon! Xoxo, Sam
