Hi everyone! I AM SO EXCITED TO SHARE THESE FARM SHIRTS WITH YOU! Although you guys normally see me all dressed up, a girl needs a cute t-shirt to be comfortable in. When Rendleman Orchards reached out to me about promoting these t-shirts I was psyched! I love the color and the simple design so you can style it a bunch of different ways. And, boys can wear it too, haha! It was so funny, she handed each of us the shirts and I went back and changed first and came out and was like “these are so soft”, a minute later, Bryce walked out and was like “these are soft”. They are a super comfy and lightweight material. Plus, when you purchase one of these tees you are supporting a great cause! When you purchase a shirt, $1 will go to Bethany Village Food Pantry and $1 will go to Murphysboro Food Pantry, AND the shirts are only $10, so they are super affordable! Today I styled mine super simple with my favorite $2 thrifted Tommy Hilfiger shorts (gotta love the GW Boutique, also known as Goodwill)! I added my Sseko sandals (read their story here) and Giving Key Necklace (read their story here) from Philanthropy and left it at that!

Lace Up Dress & Bag: Brickwood Boutique | Shoes: Similar, On Sale

Hi guys! Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! I had my last day working at Philanthropy on Saturday. They threw the sweetest party for me that included Chinese and gourmet cupcakes (two of my faves)! I am definitely gunna miss that place!

I love this dress from Brickwood! It is so clean and simple with the perfect amount of detailing. I have been loving the lace up trend lately and I think this dress incorporates it perfectly. It is perfect for me because it requires very minimal accessorizing so it is very easy to throw on and go. Plus, this dress can be easily transitioned into the fall with an oversized navy cardigan or simple jean jacket. I paired the dress with a simple beige cross body, also from Brickwood, and my lace up flats.

Hey girl! Happy Monday! I am spending the day at Lindenwood finishing up some registration stuff and then I am doing a little retail therapy! I can’t wait to live in St. Louis and have so many shopping options all the time! AHHHH, it’s a shopaholics dream! This romper is one of my favorite summer purchases! It is from the Kendall and Kylie collection at PacSun! Kendall and Kylie are two of my favorites when it comes to celebrity street style so when they announced that they were coming out with a fashion line I was psyched! I think they have such cute stuff and definitely embrace the 70s styles that I have been loving. This romper is so fun and features a lot of this season’s trends. I have been seeing the lace up detailing everywhere and you can never go wrong with a good summer romper! I also love the ruffles and the chic print, this is definitely a summer essential piece for me. To enhance the 70s vibes in the romper I added this fringe cross body and my platform sandals, and to include some denim, I tied my denim jacket around my waist!

Floral Can Be Edgy Too

Hello there! How are you doing this week? I have been CRAZY busy lately and finally had some time to update some things and get stuff done these past few days which has been so nice! I have been working on some super exciting things that I can’t wait to share with you soon! I hope you have been loving the new-er site! If you haven’t already, be sure and check out the Style and Shopping page!

One of the best parts about starting this blog is the people I have met, and Christen at Brickwood is one of the best! Brickwood has so much cute stuff and is pretty affordable! Make sure you like Brickwood on Facebook and follow them on Instagram because there are always deals going on that you won’t wanna miss! This Brickwood dress is so cute! I love that it is so girly and feminine but can also be styled a little edgier like I did here. The lace is right on trend with the season and I love this vibrant floral print. This shade of blue is so pretty and I don’t have anything similar to this in my closet so I knew I needed to have it! I paired the dress with my black combat booties and hat to edge it up a little bit! Then, I layered some simple gold necklaces and my sister’s fringe bag that I totally took from her room when she wasn’t home (if you’re reading this, thanks sis)!;)

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! I swear this summer is flying by… I feel like if I blink, summer will be over and I will be moved into my dorm at Lindenwood. It’s that time of the summer where when I am buying new things, I am looking for pieces that can be easily transitioned into fall. I think these pants are so fun and a perfect transition piece. They are so flowy and look great when you’re walking or moving around and give off a very easy and effortless vibe. I also love the detail on the waistband. I styled them with this simple tank top to stay cool on these hot days. I think the embroidery at the top pairs really nicely with the waistband of the pants. And, I think you could add a jean jacket or sweater in the fall to easily switch seasons.

Hats are probably my current favorite accessory. I am always looking for an excuse to not style my hair and hats are the perfect solution, plus they are so trendy and literally “top” off any outfit. This hat is a PacSun clearance find that I snagged for $5. I wear my Giving Key necklace with just about every outfit and this one is no exception. It is so simple and a great conversation piece. I love explaining the meaning behind it. For those of you that are unfamiliar with The Giving Key, they employ people transition out of homelessness in LA to stamp the words on them. You wear the word that describes you and then when you meet someone that you think is also described by the word, you pass it on to them. I think they are an incredible organization and I love supporting them.

Since launching this blog I have gotten a lot of questions about fashion for different ages. I am so excited to partner with WLB Style to help conquer the misconception that once you reach a certain age, you can not wear fabulous things! Summer Blues... And Reds, And Whites. 4th of July Outfit Ideas. — This is Emma! She’s the girl behind the camera in all of my blog posts! She is seriously the backbone of this blog and I couldn’t do it without her! I am so lucky to have her as a friend!

Hi people! I hope you are having an awesome weekend celebrating America’s Birthday! I’m so excited for the holiday I wanted to show you two more outfit ideas! Both outfits are so comfortable and patriotic, they will be perfect for your 4th of July festivities! Amanda is wearing a super cute tie-dye dress from American Rag! I feel like tie dye is an American fashion staple and is such a fun statement. She styled her dress with simple brown booties from PacSun and some gold jewelry. I’m wearing my star printed denim dress that I purchased at Old Navy. Stars and denim also scream “America” to me. My favorite part about this dress is that it has pockets. Dresses with pockets are the best. I added my new favorite tie dye headband and my lace up yoga slings to finish off the look!

We Don’t Wear Red, White, & Blue Everyday… But When We Do, It’s The 4th Of July

Hi everyone! Who else is excited to celebrate the 4th of July next week? Yay for USA, and BBQs!;) For those of you that don’t know, this is my sister, Amanda! She is definitely my best friend and it has been so much fun being in high school with her this past year! She is equally as ready for a chance to get dressed up as I am and has a very similar style to mine (only she’s a lot better at the hair/makeup). She is wearing a super cute striped tee shirt dress from Old Navy. I love how simple and effortless it looks. To add a pop of red and make it a little more functional for parties and fireworks, she paired it with her red high tops and pulled her hair back with a bandana. I am wearing this fun, red and white striped peplum, also from Old Navy ($6 clearance find). It is really trendy and comfortable and is perfect for a hot day! I paired this shirt with my new favorite Tommy Hilfiger shorts, I snagged these up at Goodwill for $2! I love the boyfriend fit and that they are a little bit longer, plus, who doesn’t love quality jeans for two bucks? I have been obsessed with hats this summer and this one is probably my current favorite, I love wearing it with my swimsuits to the pool. It is a $5 PacSun clearance find (CLEARANCE RACKS ARE THE BOMB) (that was supposed to be a firework pun). I added my platform sandals and my Giving Key necklace to finish off the look.

Hi friends! I hope you are having an awesome summer so far! Since our last chat I have been to a Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber concert… Not gunna lie, I spent the morning trying to figure out if there was a way I could go see either one of them again, SO GOOD! I don’t think I’ve ever screamed so loud in my life (I am going to post a concert style blog soon). I have also been updating my site a little bit. I added a shopping tab with some of my favorite summer products so be sure and check that out!:)

Brickwood has so many cute options for summer and this poncho is no exception. It is super lightweight and I love the print. I think it would look so cute tucked into a pair of shorts or over a swimsuit. I styled it with one of my favorite pairs of jeggings and my suede Toms for a more casual day.
